The Arbois Chardonnay Rose Massale 2020 is a special and innovative wine from the renowned winery Bénédicte et Stéphane Tissot, located in the Jura region of eastern France. This wine is distinguished by the use of Chardonnay vines with a unique pink color, a rarity in the wine world. Chardonnay vines, but with a different pink color! Through massive selection from 40 plants, Tissot has planted many of these special, young vines on different plots with 60% clay and 40% limestone

The vines have a different pink color, which results from a massive selection of 40 original plants. This special phenomenon contributes to the unique flavor profile of the wine. The young vines are planted on different plots consisting of a mix of 60% clay and 40% limestone. This terroir offers an excellent balance between drainage and minerality, which contributes to the complexity and structure of the wine. The wine is produced with minimal intervention, in line with Tissot's biodynamic philosophy. This ensures that the natural aromas and flavors of the grapes are fully expressed. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts, and the wine is then aged in French oak barrels, adding texture and depth without losing freshness.

The Bénédicte et Stéphane TissotRose Massale Chardonnay is more aromatic than most traditional Chardonnay wines. Expect intense scents of citrus fruits, green apple and subtle floral notes, supplemented with a hint of almond and mineral nuances. In the mouth the wine is quite powerful but beautifully balanced with its freshness. The taste offers more bitter notes and a refreshing acidity, which makes the wine lively and exciting. The structure is firm, with a harmonious balance between fruitiness and minerality. The aftertaste is long and refined, with persistent mineral undertones and a subtle spiciness.
