Carignano del Sulcis

The carignano is a vine that is very widespread throughout the western basin of the Mediterranean. It is the most cultivated grape in France, especially in Languedoc-Roussillon in the south of France, where it is known as carignan. In Spain, the cariñena is mainly found in Catalonia.
